By booking a trip with 982, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before completing your booking.

Definitions:
‍“Trip” refers to any curated group experience organized by 982.“Membership” refers to access to the 982 digital community, private app, and curated resources for a 12-month period.“Onboarding” refers to the process of adding a member to the WhatsApp group and whitelisting their email for the 982 app.“Force Majeure” refers to events outside the reasonable control of 982, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, travel bans, or pandemics.

1. Booking & Membership

Each trip booking includes a complimentary 12-month 982 membership, activated immediately upon booking.

This membership grants access to our private community, trip previews, digital materials, the 982 mobile app, and curated member experiences.

Membership is valued at €2,400 and is non-refundable once granted.

2. Waiver of Right of Withdrawal (Widerrufsrecht)

In accordance with § 356 (5) of the German Civil Code (BGB):

By completing your booking, you explicitly request that 982 begins providing services immediately (including onboarding and access to the private community and app).

You therefore waive your statutory 14-day right of withdrawal.

At checkout, you will be required to confirm this waiver via checkbox.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Within 24 hours of booking (and before being added to the group): Full refund possible.

‍

After 24 hours or once added to the community group or app: No refunds under any circumstances.

This includes the €2,400 membership, which is considered delivered once onboarding begins, specifically, when you are added to the private WhatsApp group and you access the 982 app.

‍

For cancellations made more than 60 days before the trip:

You will receive a credit equal to your payment amount minus a 7.5% transfer fee, which covers processing, onboarding, and reallocation of your seat.

This credit is valid for 12 months and can be applied to any future 982 trip.

Membership remains active and the 12-month term does not pause or reset.

For cancellations made within 60 days of the trip:

No refund or credit is available due to advance commitments made by 982.

‍

Important: Under no circumstances will cash refunds be issued. Any eligible cancellations will result in company credit only.

To initiate a cancellation or transfer request, you must contact a member of the 982 team directly via team@unlocking982.com. Written confirmation from a representative is required before any changes are processed.

4. Participant Replacement

If you are unable to attend your booked trip, you may request to transfer your spot to another individual. This person must:

• Apply through the official 982 application process
• Be accepted by our team after vetting
• Be approved by 982 for the transfer

‍

Approval is not guaranteed. If the replacement is declined, the standard cancellation policy applies.

5. Community Access, Renewal & Revocation

Access to the 982 community is tied to your 12-month membership.

If you cancel your trip after being granted access, 982 reserves the right to revoke your membership without compensation.

982 may remove members from the community for inactivity or violations of our values and code of conduct.

If you remain in the community or continue to access 982 services beyond the initial 12-month period, and have been given written notice that your membership is expiring, your membership will automatically renew for an additional 12 months at the standard rate of €2,400. Continued access after the expiration date constitutes acceptance of this renewal and fee.

6. Force Majeure & No-Shows

982 is not responsible for cancellations or no-shows resulting from illness, travel issues, visa denial, or other personal emergencies.

We strongly recommend purchasing third-party travel insurance.

‍

In the unlikely event that 982 must cancel or reschedule a trip due to force majeure (including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, government restrictions, acts of war, civil unrest, or any event beyond our reasonable control), 982 will offer a replacement trip or credit of equal value to be used within 12 months. No cash refunds will be issued.

If 982 cancels an event for any reason not related to force majeure, you will be offered either (a) a replacement trip of similar nature and value, or (b) a credit for future use within 12 months.

Under no circumstances is 982 liable for any costs incurred by participants outside the program fee (including but not limited to flights, visas, or accommodation booked independently).

7. Limitation of Liability

‍Participation in any 982 trip is voluntary and at your own risk. 982 is not liable for any injury, loss, damage, or inconvenience arising from trip participation, third-party providers, or use of community services. All services are provided “as is,” and 982 makes no guarantees regarding specific results or outcomes.

8. Payment Disputes & Chargebacks

By booking a trip and agreeing to these terms:

You confirm that the services (trip planning, onboarding, membership, etc.) begin immediately.

You understand and accept that the booking is final and non-refundable beyond the conditions described above.

Any chargeback attempts will be contested with supporting documentation (including this agreement, proof of service delivery, and access logs).

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.

Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Berlin, Germany.
